Refund & Return
At Chacha Tours & Travel, customer satisfaction is our top priority. This policy explains how we handle refunds, cancellations, and booking amendments for all our travel services, including flight tickets, hotel reservations, package tours, MICE events, and golf tours.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all bookings made directly with Chacha Tours & Travel, whether for domestic (Indonesia) or international travel. Some services may also follow additional rules set byairlines, hotels, or third-party suppliers, which will apply in addition to this policy.
2. Customer Cancellation
If you need to cancel your booking, the following charges will apply (unless otherwise stated in your booking confirmation):

*Non-refundable deposits may include airline tickets, hotel deposits, or supplier penalties. All cancellations must be submitted in writing (email or letter). The cancellation date is based on when we receive your request.
3. Refund Processing
- Eligible refunds will be processed within 15–45 business days after we receive your written request and required documents.
- Refunds will be made to the original payment method (bank transfer, credit card, etc.).
- Bank fees, credit card charges, and third-party penalties may be deducted from the refundable amount.
4. Non-Refundable Services
- Certain flight tickets with promotional or special airline rules.
- Visa fees, travel insurance, and government taxes once processed.
- Tickets for special events, festivals, or non-changeable activities.
5. MICE & Corporate Travel
Due to the complexity of Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions (MICE) services, separate terms and deadlines will be stated in each event contract.
- Venue deposits, equipment rentals, and catering fees are often non-refundable once confirmed.
- Postponements are treated as cancellations unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Golf Tours & Special Packages
- Golf tours and custom itineraries often require advance bookings with special rates.
- Cancellation fees will follow the specific terms of each golf course or supplier.
- Any prepaid deposits for tee times are non-refundable.
7. Cancellation by Chacha Tours & Travel or Suppliers
If we must cancel a service due to force majeure (natural disasters, government restrictions, airline schedule changes, or unforeseen circumstances), we will:
- Offer an alternative arrangement of equal or higher value (subject to your approval), or
- Provide a refund for the unused portion of your booking, subject to third-party supplier policies.
8. Amendments to Bookings
- Changes to dates, names, or itineraries may incur administration fees or supplier penalties.
- Amendments are subject to availability and supplier approval.
9. Force Majeure
We are not liable for refunds when services cannot be provided due to events beyond our control, including:
- Natural disasters (earthquake, volcanic eruption, flood, etc.)
- Political unrest, strikes, or government regulations
- Epidemics or pandemics
In such cases, we will assist in rebooking or claiming refunds from suppliers whenever possible.
10. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover trip cancellations, delays, medical emergencies, and other unexpected events.
11. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please send a written request including:
- Booking Reference / Invoice Number
- Name(s) of traveler(s)
- Reason for cancellation
- Bank details or payment method for refund processing

12. Policy Updates
Chacha Tours & Travel reserves the right to update this policy at any time. The policy in effect at the time of booking will apply to your reservation.
